Hope for Christmas

Saturday was the third annual “Hope for Christmas” gala at Westridge Church and I had the privilege of participating in this event for the second time. “Hope for Christmas” brings assistance to families who need it at Christmas. They partner with “Warehouse of Hope,” “A Fresh Hope” and “CAYA” to provide a Christmas dinner, presents for the children and even a secret Santa shop where the children can choose a free gift for a parent, or anyone they choose. More than just providing for these tangible needs, the event is also meant to be a fun time for the whole family. There are clowns, jugglers, face-painters, balloon artists, inflatables, food, a craft. There is even a Santa for kids to get their picture taken with. It is always such fun to help out with this event, this year I was in the inflatables area. It was great to see all the kids having so much fun. I didn’t take very many pictures because my batteries died.
